This book this book what can I say? I read it in one day and was so engrossed I didn't want to put it down. I have not read this author`s work before and a search in kindle books did not show any other books, which was a shame. I loved the story of Ore and Ant it takes you through such a roller coaster of emotions .....laughter, tears, sorrow, joy I truly did not want it to end. Five Stars and a tremendous recommendation to add this to you reading list.Product details

Bryant recently discovered that she was adopted because her mother died after giving birth. She finally found her father and she’s devastated when she discovers that he’s in a coma and will likely not wake up. At the hospital she meets Orion and he comforts her. Orion is a friend of Bryant’s real father, but Orion didn’t know that he had a daughter. Orion’s dad can give Bryant answers to the questions she has, but his dad isn’t an easy man.
Bryant’s adoptive parents were disliked by many people of the town, so not everybody was friendly to Bryant. Orion also wasn’t a fan of them, but he’s nice to Bryant. He notices quickly that she isn’t like her parents. He likes to spend time with her and he wants to be with her.
Orion and Bryant are great characters. Orion is caring, strong, talented, protective and a little damaged. He has done something that still affects his life now. He can’t let it go. Bryant makes him deal with his past. She makes his life better, just like he does for her. Bryant tries to push Orion away sometimes, but Orion doesn’t let that happen without a fight.
Bryant has never know real love and she’s lost, but she’s a giving and loving and nice woman. She says what’s on her mind. She loves cooking and food. She’s talented and she hopes to own her own restaurant one day. I felt for Bryant many times and I’m happy that she has friends and knows love at the end. This book has a great epilogue.
I liked The Other Side of Anger a lot. It was a little emotional, suspenseful and sweet. I love the meaning of the title and it fits Bryant and Orion’s love story. There happened a few things and there were a few revelations that I didn’t expect at all. I did want maybe a little more closure about some things at the end.
Great story. All I can say is baklava is my new favorite dessert!!!
I'm not one to gravitate to romance novels, but this book and story line kept me up late reading, not wanting to put it down! Such vivid writing that took me straight to Kentucky, to a beautiful custom made home, to the smell of delicious cinnamon buns that never get eaten, and a very HOT romance that keeps bringing me back for more!!
INSANELY Descriptive writing throughout the entire book! From the sexual tension that builds to the development of characters, Courtney knows how to hook us! Did not want the book to end and shall look forward to Courtney Lea's next work. YUM!
Absolutely loved this book! From the first moment Bryant and Orion meet you can feel an intense connection. Each carry their own heartbreaking pain, but through their partnership they can overcome it. Grab your coziest blanket, a warm cup of tea and shut off your phone because youre going to want to immerse yourself in this steamy, touching story.
I read the first 88% of this book in one late night reading session before sleep finally took over! Romance novels aren't usually my thing (the steamy erotic scenes made me blush!!) but I couldn't put this one down. At the end of the book I'm left with a deep remorse that Orion Black isn't real, and I can't have him and his carpentry for myself!
Such a good read. Very easy to read too. I'd read a second one if there was one to continue on.
